Sudha Gollapudi
Founder, Halo Renewables
With a background in impact investing and sustainable development, Sudha joins Oikocredit’s Board with a shared goal of creating a more just world through microcredit and expanded financial services for underserved communities. She is the founder of Halo Renewables, a last-mile advisory studio that leads energy projects for governments, developers, investors, and international NGOs. Previously, she held senior roles at Power Africa, a public-private initiative to increase electricity access, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, and Sol Systems, a solar developer and financier. She also served on the Board of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, a nonprofit that provides training and leadership opportunities for the next generation of clean energy leaders. Over her 15+ year career, Sudha has worked on projects in 40 countries and has helped facilitate $600 million in debt investments for energy, telecom, infrastructure, banking, and agriculture clients. She has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Bates College, an M.E.M from Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
